PS5 overheating or loud fan: what should you check?
Keep the console vents clear and give it space for airflow. If it displays an overheating warning or repeatedly shuts down, stop using it and arrange an inspection. Dust build-up can restrict cooling, but a shutdown alone does not confirm that cleaning will solve the fault.
Does a deep clean fix every PS5 shutdown?
